However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the dire rats.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. Heian abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

She keeps company with all sorts of races to see how they think and challenge minds foreign to her own.

History: Heir to a fortune, her parents put a great deal of effort into curing her disease. After coming to the age of reason, Ruloth took it upon herself to study the druidic arts in their entirety; because of this, she was labeled a dark omen and banished from her homeland. Since then, she has sought to make the best of life.
