He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

History: She was born in the north. Her mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She left for the north, certain she would find work there.

Motivation: She has money and likes to spend it; and human compassion

Description: He wears a tight fitting green shirt and pants. He is physically well-built. His long chestnut hair is drawn into a two foot long braid. His silver eyes dart from person to person.

Personality: He is a Dyer first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: Mormo was born in the south. At a young age he loved to build and create. Mormo was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Mormo decided he wanted neither the life of his father nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. He became a Dyer soon after.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it; and he has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day

Personality: He is soft-spoken, optimistic and speaks nonstop, as he rather likes the sound of his voice. His demeanor is somewhat feminine. He also is a firm believer in the manly ideal.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Tailor hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture; and wants to have a good time and be beloved

Personality: He hates illithids. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: Faran was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Barbarian, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Barbarian in service of a powerful lord somewhere. Faran abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark.
