Personality: While she acts the brute, she is far gentler than she would appear. She passes on several rewards to people in need. She makes a point to leave places better than she found them.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when orcs swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In her 10th year, her parents were killed by a orcs raid, leaving Rinn alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Born in the east to a Carter, Yurgunn learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. Her mother worked until she suffered an accident while they were digging through a hill for a new route. She had to support her now crippled mother and took her mother's old job. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Carter for the past few years.

Motivation: Regain custody of her daughter; and find a way to reverse the transformation of her sister

Personality: A grumpy gal she will invite people to lunch so she can critique them. Yet she still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. Further she is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Baggi grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Baggi. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.
