This gray eyed northerner is not easily forgotten.

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, he has a hard time making friends. He is afraid of women and trembles around them

History: Gilthur was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Adept, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Adept in service of a powerful lord somewhere. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He has dedicated himself to building a better world.

Personality: She is overprotective of those who hire her services. She has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when brigands swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Her parents were killed by brigands in a raid when she was still a young child. The brigands captured her, and made her a slave and general play-thing. She was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to her deformed appearance. She eventually got the idea of being the protector of her homeland from reading books, and has made it her duty.

Personality: Always inclined to offer people food he seems plenty friendly. He will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. He cares deeply for his spouse and does his best to make sure his guests look presentable.

History: Jade lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
