History: Born to a Cook, her father struggled to pay the bills. In her 16th year, her parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Merla alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by brigands. Merla was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the brigands.

Personality: He is a very philanthropic person; he spends his free time working at various soup kitchens. He has a habit of throwing himself into exceedingly dangerous situations.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Her white hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. Her gray eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.

Personality: She is irascible and easily irritated. She can't help but pocket interesting objects she comes across

History: Born in the east her family was never financially stable. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Ekk grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Ekk. She's also a talented Tanner, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: She desires power and/or immortality; and to be a tanner again

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He plays an instrument quite well.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Nykkan was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Healer for hire.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the south.

Personality: She is quite rude, and likes to deride her opponents skill and shout insults at them. She is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Buvvie grew up listening to her father's many stories. From there she went from mercenary job to mercenary job. She used her abilities to travel the world and help people.
