He found a children's book about a Gnome Barbarian who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. History: Born in the south to a Ploughman, Xanaphia learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Elves in the south were limited. She inherited the family business which she has now maintained for 4 years.

History: Born in the south his family was never financially stable. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Painter work with an outfit from a few towns over. Painter work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Painter for hire.

Personality: She considers herself the protector of her home. She feels this is her duty and calling. She has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. In her youth she was a Painter, and wanted to be a champion fighter when she grew up. She was working during a period of war, and as one of the natives she lived in fear of joining the others in being slaughtered. She saw the brutality and swore off her fighting aspirations, taking her younger sister on her back after seeing her parents die, and fled the country. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
