History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by goblins. Meriele was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the goblins.
