History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk he knows how to make people feel guilty. The war was a terrible time for him, and Nimble does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He has recently attracted an admirer that believes he's playing hard to get.

Motivation: Wants his loneliness to end.

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Courier born in the past three hundred years. He can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: His druidic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Courier for hire.

Motivation: Expand his business; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

History: Trained by her father for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. Through the years after Spring was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. History: Kite was born with her father's beautiful face. She has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to her frivolously. She now mingles about in high society.
