History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Engraver arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the desert to a summer home near a large cave. He would wander through that large cave and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the desert due to the painful memories there. Bertram took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up greatsword and armor he uses now. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

History: Verin was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her father was employed at, doing general labor. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Tieflings in the east were limited. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: Further expansion of business; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister

History: Her martial talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. After coming to the age of reason, Harann took it upon herself to study the martial arts in their entirety; because of this, she was labeled a dark omen and banished from her homeland. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He's a bit of a prankster. He knows he is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. He is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of him. He is by nature obliging.

History: Born in the east to a Fletcher, Direcris learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Fletcher. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Direcris was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the dire rats.
