History: Drifting was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Druid, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Druid in service of a powerful lord somewhere. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Drifting grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Drifting. Being a Brewer kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Motivation: He will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions

History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. She struck it rich when she found rare goods in large quantities. She tends to her Painter job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.

Motivation: Regain custody of her son; and wants to open a new tavern

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. His philosophy is that everyone needs a friend and as such shows hospitality towards all.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. He worked as a nervous Spy and found it very stressful. He tends to his Spy job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Spy responsibilities is difficult; and expand his business

Personality: She considers herself a woman of culture and sophistication. She likes a good challenge to her wits. She has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Motivation: Money/treasure; and she doesn't get along with people that don't share her tastes
