Personality: He is intelligent and cunning, but he will too often allow his rage to get the better of him. He will lose his cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. He is used to getting what he wants. In part because he is a meticulous planner.

History: Heian was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Masseuse. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: Many gnolls want him driven away; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge

Personality: While she acts the brute, she is far gentler than she would appear. She has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when brigands swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Since her father passed away years ago, her mother had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Crown-heir they were divorced and she won custody of their son. She worked as a Seamstress, and she later adopted a second son.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and she has a rivalry with the church that dominates her actions
