History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. Personality: He is fixated on the number 3. He counts his steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. He seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. He takes great joy in being the best Herbalist in town.

History: He was born into a rich family. While he appears to be a normal Dwarf, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He has worked as a Herbalist like his father before him.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg.

Personality: He is extraordinarily eccentric. He tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister.

History: A child with a great deal of painting talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: She feels kind of lost in life.

She spends most of her days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There she gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: She was born on a small isolated farm. Her mother took her hunting and taught her how to get in the mind of other creatures. She is searching for what she claims is her rightful reward.
