History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Through the years after Gurdis was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Gurdis's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. In the meantime she has taken over work as a Merchant and occasionally as a mercenary.

Personality: He does not care much for physical appearances, nor does he care much for other people. He does however care about what he wants and getting it. He refers to his adoptive mother for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: He was raised by priests from a young age. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: Marry his sister to traveling adventurers.

Personality: He is quite rude, and likes to deride his opponents skill and shout insults at them. He disdains his fellow northerners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. Like his mother and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Animal Trainer. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and expand his business

Personality: He is cool and collected. He likes to make quips and puns whenever he does anything. He also makes a point to compliment his superiors and flatter them. He would rather hide behind his crafts than deal with other people.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion

History: She was born into a rich family. Her family was turned out during the war. She and her family wandered north to less war torn lands. She now mingles about in high society.
