History: Iados lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: She was raised by priests from a young age. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Personality: She is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of her strength. She works very hard to maintain that gentleness. Her home and work are filled with various knick knacks she has acquired through the years. She cares a great deal for her adopted teenage son.

History: Her psionic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. She has worked as a Scribe like her mother before her.

History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. She moved from fad to fad and when she turned 15 she discovered poetry. She now owns her own business.

History: A powerful brothel owner made him what he is. Nybarg was born on a far southern island where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Scribe. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: He uses money and sex appeal to get what he needs.
