History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Alston was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered singing. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Tabaxis in Serpent's homeland. Serpent decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He now mingles about in high society.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. Her father worked until she suffered an accident while they were digging through a hill for a new route. She had to support her now crippled father and took her father's old job. By chance she met her sister recently and the two have been together since.
