History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Chem grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Chem. He would ruin relationships and cause injury. He was reprimanded several times before being given his current form and forced to learn humility.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. Her first spouse was a Layabout, they had one son, but her spouse won total custody. Without her spouse to temper her she grew out of control. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To reunite with her absent mother; and find a way to reverse the transformation of her sister

History: He was born at the edge of vast desert. Through the years after Alex was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Alex's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He's also a talented Spice Merchant, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: To clean up the streets; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg

Personality: He is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. He is frequently practicing swordplay.

History: Gifted from a young age, Everard studied abroad. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

Personality: He is curt in most of his responses. He prefers to keep his word usage to a minimum to avoid giving away unnecessary information. He is a bit of a macho man and will challenge people to random contests of strength and skill, and invite them to random hunting and fishing trip.

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. Over the years he perfected his riding and shooting skills. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and wants his loneliness to end
