History: He was born in the north, but his parents moved at a very young age to the west. After coming to the age of reason, Varis took it upon himself to study the divine arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He's also a talented Marshal, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

He has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. While he appears to be a normal Half-Elf, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.
