Description: She wears an old set of leather armor, nicked and torn by the ravages of time and battle. She carries with her a set of shortspears, each one with a topaz on the hilt. She only wears one on her belt and the other on her back. She wears her chestnut hair up in a very large beehive style do. She has several tiny topaz earrings on each ear.

Personality: Here is a woman who knows she is the smartest in the room. She talks down to others constantly. A true patriot, Theirastra would do anything for her country. She is fiercely protective of her fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: Trained by her father for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. Her father was very strict, and drilled into her lessons on being the perfect lady. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

Description: This man wears a faded coat and loose pants complete with wide-brimmed hat, and sports empty pouches on his belt. His hair is greying and his face has many wrinkles. His violet eyes are passionate and lively.

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Baern was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Motivation: A deep hatred of giants; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions

Description: Wearing a closed helm and plate, one would not know what he was had he not made sure his armor was more form fitting than normal. Outside of the suit he wears a robe, a symbol of luck around his neck, and a scimitar on his belt. His auburn hair is still thick. His fair skin shows little sign of his aristocratic breeding.

Personality: He is someone who is used to having a large amount of sex appeal. He also lacks a concept of privacy and shares just about everything. He is underhanded and not above using his wealth and body to get others to do his bidding.

History: Theren was born in the west. At a young age he loved to build and create. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Theren fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: He has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day; and seeks redemption

Description: A woman with a warm, jovial air about her, she has a large yellow mantle and cape that has been intricately interwoven into her brown robe. Her white hair is kept up in a ponytail inside a Stetson hat. Her eyes are brown and she is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: She hates dire rats. She views them as having robbed her home of its proper glory. She loves her children and doesn't want them to worry about her. She loves to share her painting with anyone who is interested.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Her father worked until she suffered an accident while they were digging through a hill for a new route. She had to support her now crippled father and took her father's old job. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge; and regain custody of her son

Description: She is wearing the road beaten gear of a warrior. She has a moderate pudge and is not very fit. Her long silver hair is drawn into a two foot long braid. Her green eyes peer out from beneath her feathered brown hat.

Personality: She loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from her. She is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Dwarf in existence. She is fiercely devoted to her mother, and views her mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating her from her legal half-brother.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Kristryd grew up listening to her mother's many stories. She was one of the best in her class, and was picked up by her current employer. She quickly showed her capability and was soon promoted to a head role. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Mason for hire.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Elven artifacts is her passion.
