History: Her mother raised her in a mountain cabin. She was a friend to animals and a trickster. In her defense of animals however she would do severe harm to people. She has been saving her money to try and buy her sister's freedom.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Bather and was forced into it by her family; and find a way to reverse the transformation of her sister

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.
