History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Varis was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. While he appears to be a normal Elf, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He has never given up on his painting dream.

Personality: He has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. He is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with his big mouthed big gutted partner. His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. He haggles over everything, upselling his goods and buying cheap. He is persistent in everything.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Over the years he perfected his riding and shooting skills. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the west; and obtaining odd cultural elven artifacts is his passion

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. His first spouse was a Bellfounder, they had one son, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Bellfounder they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Armorer, and he later adopted a second son.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion; and doesn't want to be a armorer and was forced into it by his family

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Thomas's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He is fiercely devoted to his father, and views his father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-brother.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. He worked as a nervous Bowyer and found it very stressful. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 14 years.

Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage.
