His mother taught him the rudiments of the Ploughman arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory. A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Engraver they were divorced and she won custody of their son. She worked as a Fortune-teller, and she later adopted a second son.
