History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Ghesh was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. Gerald was born on a far eastern forest where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Bellfounder. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions
