Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Jillian embodies much of what other species detest in the Halflings. She loves being with her children and actually smiles when they are around. She would do anything for them. She dislikes her ex a great deal.

History: Jillian was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Ranger, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Ranger in service of a powerful lord somewhere. Being born in the north, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the north for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way south. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature greataxe.

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. He cares deeply for his spouse and does his best to make sure his guests look presentable.

History: When he was but 4 years old his parents immigrated from the east. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: Wants to work out more often; and to be a miller again

Description: This man is unhealthily muscled, almost every single one of his veins is visible when he is not flexing. His shirts and pants tend to be short and undersized for him due to the difficulty of finding a good tailor. He has dyed his greying red hair a little too much giving a sharp red color. He tend to wears goggles to shield his eyes.

Personality: He is irascible and easily irritated. Around other people he will do his best to conceal his emotions and appear jolly.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: Wants to work out more often; and he is greedy

Description: What flesh remains visible is marred by burns. She wears a red shirt with thin white vertical stripes and black pants. Her chestnut hair, when down, is lengthy. She is missing an eye and her face is severely sunburned. Her one remaining eye shines blue.

Personality: She is a hateful person. She taunts others and blames them for her problems. She has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. In her 17th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her father impaled in their home, and her mother beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Her mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her mother was legitimate. She got away from her former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: Her religion dominates her actions; and she has a rivalry with the church that dominates her actions
