History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. A few years later when the south was not economically sound they moved to her current location. She now spends her time doing works of charity.

History: A powerful brothel owner made him what he is. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Smoking grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Smoking. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: He has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day.

Personality: She is shy and timid. She has not had much interaction with people and is skittish around them. She lacks moral complications. She does what she is told to by employers but not much else. She spends her money on whatever she fancies at the time.

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her father and mother. Her father taught her the rudiments of the Crown-heir arts, while her mother instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. While studying, she fell in love. They married and had a son. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

History: She comes from a rich western family. A serious injury left her father unemployed and in need of constant care. Her family became saddled with debt trying to care for her infirm father. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

Motivation: She possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal; and she is a bit of a kleptomaniac
