History: Trym lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He has had some formal painting training, and achieved minor success. He has never given up on his painting dream.

History: Gifted from a young age, Bernard studied abroad. Like his father and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Guard. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Personality: Friendly and accommodating she would invite many more into her home than her spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. She is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in her opinion.

History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and she wants to meet her childhood hero

History: Heian hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a daughter. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 6 years.
