Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Laucian's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. As long as the job gets done he does not care how it got done.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. Through the years after Laucian was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Laucian's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He now mingles about in high society.

Description: Dark and lean, she is a relatively plain woman. She wears grey robes with leather pauldrons. Though occasionally she wears more armor. She prefers to carry a crossbow, but if one is not available she will default to her ceremonial dagger. She has dyed her greying brown hair a little too much giving a sharp brown color. Her face is scarred and worn.

Personality: She is curt in most of her responses. She prefers to keep her word usage to a minimum to avoid giving away unnecessary information. Gunnloda is a bit of a follower. Usually she is manipulated by her brothers into helping them out, but recently she has become more of a free agent.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, she was no stranger to responsibility. Being born in the west, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the west for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way east. She has been saving her money to try and buy her brother's freedom.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Hunter and was forced into it by her family.

Personality: She exudes charisma. She is a tour de force of persuasion. She has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: Gorga was born in the west. At a young age she loved to build and create. From her teen years she was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on her. She left for the west, certain she would find work there.

Personality: Naamah hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate her. It was this clingy personality that held back her writing career. She can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when brigands swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Her mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Motivation: Someone believes her a fraud; and she is greedy

Description: This light-skinned male prefers to wear white clothing when he does not wear armor. He is tall, broad shouldered and powerfully built. His blonde hair is thinning but still full. His eyes are likewise blue. His teeth are white and perfect.

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. Prâk enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Cursed with a spirit at a very young age, Prâk has worked very hard to control his curse. Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Prâk fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: He is a bit of a kleptomaniac; and he has decided he is irredeemable
