History: He was born in the north, but his parents moved at a very young age to the south. Lamlis was born on a far northern island where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Tailor. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Dyer. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Motivation: He feels threatened by others.

History: Born in the south to a Stableman, Marbas learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Stableman responsibilities is difficult; and money/treasure

Personality: He is quite rude, and likes to deride his opponents skill and shout insults at them. He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. While he appears to be a normal Half-Elf, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: He's looking for his big break; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs
