History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. She dropped out of school before completing her studies. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by goblins, and she desires to right it; and she wants revenge against goblins

Direcris's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.
