Personality: Abrasive and pushy, he has a hard time making friends. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.
History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Description: She wears a large hat to cast shadows over her face and wears ponchos to better hide her body. Her attire stands in sharp contrast to her hand crossbow, which is beautifully polished and possesses an ornate carving of a dagger on it. Her tied-back hair is blonde. She wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into her face.
Personality: She cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with her opinion, she thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, she can get violently argumentative. She is fiercely devoted to her mother, and views her mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating her from her legal half-sister.
History: Bardryn was born the youngest of three triplets. Being born in the east, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the east for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way south. She has dedicated herself to building a better village for her children.
Motivation: To reunite with her old friends; and she will attempt to ambush and attack anyone she thinks she can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. if successful, she will try to sell them to her slave-trader contact

Description: She wears a black shirt, with a red mid length skirt with red tights and flats, usually wearing a coat over them. She has a slight overbite and is overall scrawny. Her hair is silver, silky, and of moderate length. Her red eyes dart around the room hyper actively observing anyone and anything.
Personality: Damaia hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate her. It was this clingy personality that held back her singing career. She is kind towards other women and children and will generally offer women help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to her.
History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Damaia was orphaned to a temple shortly after her birth. She was raised by the temple staff to care always for others above herself and to hold her god always in her heart. She has never given up on her singing dream.
Motivation: Many dire rats want her driven away; and she wants revenge against dire rats

Description: This man is tall and muscular. He is wearing the road beaten gear of a warrior. His blonde hair is slicked back into a classic pompadour. His face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.
Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. When triggered he is a bloodthirsty maniac, stopping at nothing and killing everything for almost an hour.
History: He was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Morkral grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Morkral. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.
Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and a rival would like him out of the picture

Personality: She is shy and timid. She has not had much interaction with people and is skittish around them. She dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. Her biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.
History: Trained by her father for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. Recently she has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.
Motivation: Several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge; and she is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions
