History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. His parents were killed by brigands in a raid when he was still a young child. The brigands captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

History: Valanthe lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Her childhood dream was to be a Scribe, but she was a colossal failure. She became a Barber soon after.

Description: A man with a calm yet intense air about him, he wears a weathered and beat up set of banded mail beneath an oversized red coat. He wears his auburn hair up in a very large beehive style do. His eyes are green and catlike.

Personality: Gildmak is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. When Gildmak reached his early adolescence his Halfling mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. Some 5 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Gildmak never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and he loathes his own lifestyle

History: She was born in the east, but her parents moved at a very young age to the west. Through the years after Adrie was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Adrie's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: Trained by her father for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. She has worked as a Laborer like her father before her.

Motivation: She has a rivalry with the Church that dominates her actions; and a rival would like her out of the picture
