Personality: He swings through moods quickly. One moment he is cool and collected, the next he is carried away by passions. He misses his home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: Ralf was raised in a hard working conservative environment. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Ralf grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. History: Gargax was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. He always admired martial-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He is fixated on the number 13. He counts his steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. He seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. His philosophy is that everyone needs a friend and as such shows hospitality towards all.

History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his mother. Like his mother and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Sage. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: Wants to have a good time and be beloved; and sabotage a competitor

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. She struck it rich when she found rare goods in large quantities. She now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Engraver responsibilities is difficult; and he uses money and sex appeal to get what he needs
