History: Akoth hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He wants random interesting trinkets and junk, hates to throw anything away; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. Through the years after Bertram was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Bertram's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Bertram fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
