History: Duvamil was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Warrior, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Warrior in service of a powerful lord somewhere. Over the years she perfected her riding and shooting skills. She hasn't been sleeping well lately.

History: Peter lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and wants to raise his children well

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture; and he seems to be bored by most things

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. He has had some formal painting training, and achieved minor success. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. He always admired arcane-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.
