History: Qualen was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Warlock, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Warlock in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature kukri.

History: Ronobe lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Since her father passed away years ago, her mother had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. Lacking all sense, she decided to go on an adventure. She picked a direction and started trekking.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Jane was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Jane was born on a far western plains where she grew up under the tutelage of her father, an expert Sellsword. She has recently attracted an admirer that believes she's playing hard to get.

History: The child of a Body Guard, who enjoyed hunting, Hecat was taken on many hunting expeditions. When the war came and ruined her parents she was left adrift. She was a hard woman then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. She now mingles about in high society.
