History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: She is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. Animals are drawn to her, and she is able to talk to them.

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Stylist work with an outfit from a few towns over. Stylist work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Stylist.

Personality: She is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. She pushes her goals aggressively. She is also a coward if confronted.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. Because her mother participated in the massacre of their homeland, dire rats burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. She was preparing to flee to the east, but the outbreak of war prevented her and her father from journeying east to reunite her family. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by dire rats. Edge was horrified and prayed that her father was alright. However, she heard that her father had died fighting off the dire rats.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when goblins swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His parents were killed by goblins in a raid when he was still a young child. The goblins captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

Motivation: Many goblins want him driven away.

History: When she was but 7 years old her parents immigrated from the west. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Miller. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: She'd like to take her coworkers down a peg.
