Personality: She hates giants. She views them as having robbed her home of its proper glory. Her philosophy is that everyone needs a friend and as such shows hospitality towards all.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. Her parents were killed by giants in a raid when she was still a young child. The giants captured her, and made her a slave and general play-thing. She was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to her deformed appearance. She would ruin relationships and cause injury. She was reprimanded several times before being given her current form and forced to learn humility.

Motivation: She will attempt to ambush and attack anyone she thinks she can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, she will try to sell them to her slave-trader contact.

The war was a terrible time for him, and Brottor does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. After a long history of fighting, Brottor and his spouse have recently divorced.

She tries to control her temper but she can't always stop herself from what she feels what must be done. She does not believe in violence as a means to an end. She is a dedicated Cartwright but believes her peers are too gung-ho.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Through the years after Myev was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Myev's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Cartwright and was forced into it by her family; and to reunite with her absent father
