Personality: She will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken her opponents. Despite her formidable combat skills she remains a coward. She tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.

History: Nyx was born in the west. At a young age she loved to build and create. Her mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her mother was legitimate. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. A freak accident while working with her Cartwright father left her crippled. She was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of philosophers.

Motivation: To reunite with her absent father; and she seems to be bored by most things

History: He was born into a rich family. A serious injury left his mother unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. He has worked as a Miller like his mother before him.
