Personality: He is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before his hampering stammer kicks in. Any perceived weakness will be pressed and exploited. He is seen as merciless and passionate.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. Personality: Deceptive and manipulative this western guy figured out how to best use his charms to convince people to do what he wants. He does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: He was born in the west, but his parents moved at a very young age to the north. In his 12th year, his parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Thoradin alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

A fanatic, her devotion to her small selection of gods is unquestionable. She claims to be doing their will and will base all her actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. A gifted student she started as a Weaver, but she got bored and became a Blacksmith. She tends to her Blacksmith job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. She went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. Some 4 years later her spouse died after the birth of her daughter. Heartbroken, Ilanis never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her daughter whom she trained as her mother had trained her before.
