History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his father. In his 14th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Thervan alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. When Pogranix reached her early adolescence her Dragonborn mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.

History: Born in the east her family was never financially stable. At some point she was captured by orcs and was tortured. After several years of this she finally managed to escape. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by orcs. Mardred was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the orcs.

Motivation: Many orcs want her driven away; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by orcs, and she desires to right it
