History: She was born into a rich family. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. She now mingles about in high society.

Description: This man is very fat, and typically wears a sleeveless long coat of deep white leather and dull black iron scale mail. He wears a feathered hat to hide his balding. His eyes are green and he is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: He is highly sensitive about his name. He loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. He works hard and plays hard.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Tanner arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Gnomish artifacts is his passion; and he's looking for his big break

History: The child of southern immigrants she idolized her mother. Like her mother and her brother before her, after school she went straight into learning to become a Painter. She has worked as a Painter like her mother before her.

Description: Her right thumb is blackened and bruised, but otherwise she appears quite healthy. She wears tight fitting pants and leather jackets. She usually doesn't wear a shirt. She has no fur. Her hazel eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.

Personality: She is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of her strength. She works very hard to maintain that gentleness. She always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove her into the Sage business.

History: Cloak was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Being born in the south, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the south for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way east. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and her spouse's relatives view her with great suspicion

Personality: She is shy and timid. She has not had much interaction with people and is skittish around them. She is used to getting what she wants. In part because she is a meticulous planner.

History: Trained by her father for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. When Eldeth reached her early adolescence her Dwarf father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

Motivation: She feels that her past leaves her morally obligated to help; and she is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions
