History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her father and mother. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

History: Born in the west to a Sage, Nella learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. Since her mother passed away years ago, her father had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She's also a talented Interpreter, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his father. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Personality: She likes to brag about her accomplishments and constantly tries to beat others to the punch. She also hits on women, regardless of circumstances.

History: Anne lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Like her father and her sister before her, after school she went straight into learning to become a Ruler. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Marshal they were divorced and she won custody of their daughter. She worked as a Ruler, and she later adopted a second daughter.
