Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Shepherd born in the past three hundred years. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: Silent lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. A few years later when the north was not economically sound they moved to his current location. Recently the stress of being a Shepherd has made it difficult for him to sleep.

She has gleaming, smiling blue eyes.

Personality: She trusts no one. She is not readily capable for forgiveness and her ire never leaves her. She is skeptical of what others tell her and is slow to trust.

History: The child of northern immigrants she idolized her father. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Assassin. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Assassin for the past few years.

Personality: She is fixated on the number 80. She counts her steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. She seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. Her temper goes off on the smallest of things. She tends to lash out at those around her.

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her mother and father. Her mother taught her the rudiments of the Merchant arts, while her father instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. She struck it rich when she found rare goods in large quantities. She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: To be a Cook again.

Personality: He is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends he is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy himself. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of drow may trigger it at times.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: He likes to brag about his accomplishments and constantly tries to beat others to the punch. He lacks restraint and is impulsive. He jumps in and acts without thinking all too often.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Soveliss was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.
