Personality: She is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. She dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. Her biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Half-Elves in the east were limited. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by drow. Melissa was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the drow.
