Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Born in the west to a Miner, Whurdred learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Miner. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone.
