History: He was raised by priests from a young age. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: She barks her statements quickly and with little fuss. She prefers small words and is at her heart utilitarian. She disdains her fellow westerners, claiming they make her look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: Heir to a fortune, her parents put a great deal of effort into curing her disease. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Halflings in the west were limited. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
