History: The child of eastern immigrants she idolized her father. Through the years after Avice was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Avice's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She eventually got the idea of being the protector of her homeland from reading books, and has made it her duty.

History: She was raised by priests from a young age. She went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. She has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Personality: She barks her statements quickly and with little fuss. She prefers small words and is at her heart utilitarian. She lacks moral complications. She does what she is told to by employers but not much else. She spends her money on whatever she fancies at the time.

History: Nissa lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the north, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the north for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way west. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: Heir to a fortune, her parents put a great deal of effort into curing her disease. Brilliant and gifted she never wanted to apply herself. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.
