History: Erdan lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He has had some formal singing training, and achieved minor success. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

History: When he was but 6 years old his parents immigrated from the north. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Edge fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. She dropped out of school before completing her studies. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

His black hair is singed and shortened. His hazel eyes dart from person to person.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. A freak accident while working with his Detective father left him crippled. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
