The family never returned to the forest due to the painful memories there. Fragrant took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up lance and armor she uses now. She is untrained/undisciplined, which makes her dangerous.

Recently a tribe of goblins attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls.
