Personality: Faran is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: When he was but 7 years old his parents immigrated from the west. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation she is generally quite perceptive. She notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. She is a great chef.

History: Her martial talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. In her 15th year, her parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Naivara alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and someone believes her a fraud

Personality: He hates Tieflings with a passion. As such he is filled with self loathing. He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: Cairn was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: He is unsatisfied with his job.

Description: Wearing a closed helm and plate, one would not know what she was had she not made sure her armor was more form fitting than normal. She has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. She wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: She is a jovial happy person, but she is convinced people are living their lives too quickly. She is a ruthless business woman, a trait she acquired from her mother.

History: Trained by her mother for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. She found a children's book about a Elf Aristocrat who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark.
