History: Born to a Miller, her father struggled to pay the bills. Her family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. She saw this and took pride in her father's willingness to do anything to win. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Barrister for hire.

Motivation: A strong sense of loyalty to Gnomish people; and she has comitted a past crime that haunts her to this day

History: Rael lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Leaf embodies much of what other species detest in the Tabaxis. He is used to getting what he wants. In part because he is a meticulous planner.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Tabaxis in the south were limited. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

She is missing an eye and her face is severely sunburned. Her one remaining eye shines black.

Personality: She tends to agree with only herself unless someone else's opinion sounds like she can profit from it. She tries to control her temper but she can't always stop herself from what she feels what must be done. Her actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as she answers to a power that mortal women fail to acknowledge.

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Server hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
